History: Scarlet's story is tragic. It began with a half starved, beaten, and molested toddler being left out in the cold one evening, as a punishment from her parents for having complained about her stomach hurting from lack of food to fill it. They had basically put her out on the street to live, and thus, she turned to begging and stealing to provide for herself. She was captured by the authorities, of course, and put into an orphanage, where she lived until she was 13 because no one had wanted to adopt her. Her life had been a tale of feeling unwanted, and undeserving...at least until she had met Kato, who had taken Scarlet under her wing.
